We are guided by seasonality and the best ingredients we can get our hands on - and believe in the lightest touch to create impeccable food experiences for a very busy year of wedding feasts, private dining, supper and lunch clubs… where we welcome thousands of guests through our doors!
Weddings
When we were planning our wedding we had quite a specific vision of the venue and of the day, we wanted something small, atmospheric and relaxed with great food and we could not have picked a better venue to fit this than The Mowbray. We initially attended an open day and when I walked in and saw the space and the lighting, I knew straight away it was the venue for us. I didn't tell Chris at the time but I nearly burst into tears because it fit what I wanted so well!
Weddings
We had the most wonderful time with you - our wedding truly was the most magical day and that was so much down to how cleverly and kindly you worked with us before and during the ceremony. Our guests were full of praise for the venue and the staff, and I think the best compliment we can give is how relaxed we felt.

We own two of the most striking and iconic Sheffield buildings in the City. Both The Chimney House and The Mowbray are steeped in history and have been restored by our award winning design team 93ft. We are proud to be able to offer you the luxury of using both spaces together or individually. A short walk alongside the waterways of the River Don connects The Mowbray in Neepsend and The Chimney House perched on the water's edge on Kelham Island.
